When trying to design our business cards we needed an ‘AI’ format; what is that?
Design templates often times use industry standard graphical software. There are some companies that offer different formats for templates. AI is for Adobe Illustrator and we are very capable of using that software package. Regardless of the format needed, Xtravar Consulting comes equipped to provide the format you need.

Are there good and bad formats?
The format needed depends on the application the logo is being used in. PNG file formats used to be recommended for use on the web. With the diversity of web browsers, PNG files are often times not the best format to use because of how the browser renders the surrounding area of the picture. To answer the question, while PNG is a fine format for something like a document template or a PDF document; it is not fine for all web browsers – neither good nor bad, just different. Bad would constitute a low graphic image that is blurred or distorted.

How many different formats will we get?
We sit down and discuss the options for logo formats and your business needs and make an appropriate decision together from there. Often people request two or three formats and three resolutions of each of those formats. Other people request the previous plus the design files. We work hard to meet all your needs and your requests.

Can you create letter head?
Absolutely! We can create templates for just about everything. For all Microsoft Office products we can create templates giving your letters, envelopes and presentations a unique style!
