What does complete package mean?
A complete package is a computer network setup in your office with the software, hardware and systems in place to enable your business to work effectively and efficiently. We take the time to understand your current needs as well as your growth needs and create a package that can accommodate both. We image all the machines to ensure backup is available and we also have loaner computers that we can switch with an existing computer while repair or upgrades are being performed.

Does that mean we need to hire an Information Technology (IT) person?
With complete packages we have service plans that offer a variety of different levels of service. We range from weekly services to as needed services because if your network and computers are running, why pay someone to agree that yes, they are indeed running? Service plans offer a number of hours based on the type of agreement. We also take the time to work on building your network so it can maintain itself as much as possible.

What about copiers and fax machines?
Xtravar Consulting does not supply or maintain copy and fax machines but we do know the industry and can setup and maintain agreements between your organization and the service provider as part of a complete package.

How about an example?
Of course. Consider a small office with five employees with computer needs. A complete package would include a server, firewall, network infrastructure, five computers, a central printer, internet, e-mail addresses, office software, other software and a service agreement. Xtravar Consulting would meet with the five users, discuss computing needs, draft up a plan and present the solution to the company decision makers. Upon approval we would procure the necessary components, setup and test the network in our office to workout the bugs minimizing the interruptions to your team and then come in and install the system.
